Welcome to Jersey Community Acupuncture
Affordable acupuncture at $20-$40 per treatment
Community acupuncture and herbal medicine right here in Hunterdon County! Community acupuncture is an international movement to create access to acupuncture by making treatments affordable. We utilize a sliding scale of $20-40 (with a one time initial intake fee of $10) and treat you while you rest in a comfortable recliner in our serene community treatment room. During your initial consultation and treatment, your acupuncturist will give you a treatment plan that will include a series of acupuncture treatments over a certain period of time. Cupping or herbal medicine may be prescribed, dependent on your needs and wants.
We use points on the head, ear and below the elbows and knees to treat the entire body, so there’s no need to undress – just remove your shoes and roll up your pants and sleeves. We can even address your back pain by treating points on your wrists and hands. Young children may receive a very gentle, non-insertive technique.
You will be with other people quietly receiving treatment at the same time. Patients benefit many ways from the community setting. In our busy society, it is not often we stop and take time to relax while surrounded by our peers. This is not a lack of privacy but an opportunity to experience treatment with family, friends and community. The shared experience makes individual treatments more powerful.

We are a POCA member clinic! You can choose to join Peoples Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) too. POCA is an international, multi-stakeholder cooperative and patients can choose to join (only if they want). Patients have a voice in the growth of our movement and are currently the majority members. By creating a multi-stakeholder co-op, patients can sign up for membership, vote in elections, run for and serve on our board of directors, volunteer in our clinics and in circles, and work on POCA projects.
