Clinic Protocols & Updates Regarding Covid-19

(Last updated: 03/30/23)

Through much turmoil during this Covid-19 pandemic, we are pleased to continue offering acupuncture treatments to our community. Because this pandemic is still ongoing, we do have a few important pieces of information to share.

From April 10th onward, masking is OPTIONAL in JCA. However, if you are recovering from any viral illnesses or are experiencing respiratory symptoms such as coughing or sneezing, we still STRONGLY suggest that you wear one.

As of recent, the CDC recommends that healthcare facilities continue the use of masks for both staff and patients based on community transmission level. We have also been closely following the same masking guidelines as our local hospital, Hunterdon Medical Center. They recently relaxed their masking policy, and we have reflected their changes in our own policy. If you would like to continue wearing a mask in the clinic, please feel free to do so. Because we are a community oriented clinic that values every patient we see, our priority remains keeping our most vulnerable patients as safe as we can. We appreciate your continued understanding and support of the clinic.

All staff at JCA have been fully vaccinated and boosted, and we are still routinely sanitizing all commonly touched areas.

We also ask that you self-screen for infection before any appointment in our community clinic. If you believe you have had an exposure to Covid-19 or are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, respiratory or gastric, please call us to reschedule your appointment.

Thank you for your understanding, and we will continue to update our clinic protocols as necessary.
